Corvette pix

Finally, most of the snow is gone, the sun was sort of shining today - time to take the car out of the garage (and bring it to the dealer for adding external paint protection and internal leather protection to the car). Here are some pix taken on this nice (and very cold) day:

The interior - it's not as dark as shown here, don't let the shadows mislead you!	Digital odometer shows 24 miles - it was showing only 10 miles when I picked the car up at the National Corvette Museum.	The sill protector and the carpet protector were bought by me (aftermarket) - the only mods installed so far (waiting for 50+ F temperatures with the rest).	What a big butt! (License plate will be personalized when I'm not unemployed any more.)	Behind the Vette is my 1996 Dodge Avenger ES, relegated to winter beater status.	50th anniversary Corvette logo on the side fender.

The right side of the car.	An inside look (again, looks darker than it really is).	Ahh, true colors! Plus the AM/FM/CD and the automatic climate controls.	Da engine compartment: 5.7L 350 HP LS1 pushrod V8 producing 375 lb-ft. torque at 4400 RPM, redline at 6000 RPM. Other specs: 0-60 mph in 4.6 sec braking from 60 to 0 mph in 125 feet 175 mph top speed 0.93g lateral acceleration 0.29 coefficient of drag quarter-mile in 13.22 seconds at 109 mph
