The setup here is pretty typical of how we ate during our stay in China: a rotating lazy
susan in the middle covered with many different dishes, tea for drinks (with
unlimited refills) plus beer or soda in a small glass (no free refills for these: each refill cost 3 yuan).
And, of course, lots of rice. Food was almost always very tasty. If you didn't
like something, you simply stopped eating from that dish - there was always
enough food on the table to fill us up. There were no courses: the appetizers,
the soup, the "main" dishes and the dessert fruits were all carried to our
table by the waiters pretty much at the same time.
This lunch was somewhat special, because we also got free alcohol - note the
small green bottles on the table. I don't know what it was made of, but it had
56% alcohol content and it tasted exactly like Hungarian pálinka...
