The principle is actually simple: with DSP technology the 20 speakers are all blasting sound to different directions. Some of those soundwaves reach you directly ("front speakers") and some of those bounce off the sidewalls reaching you from behind ("rear speakers"). The demonstration 5.1 booth sounded very, very convincing. |
